FAQ - rec.arts.comics.dc.lsh
- This is the very brief welcome post for rec.arts.comics.dc.lsh. This newsgroup
is devoted to discussions of DC Comics' Legion of Super-Heroes, a group of
teenaged super-heroes in the 30th century DC universe.
Get-a-Life
Boy's Legion of Super-Heroes Site - Get-A-Life Boy has the power to fritter
away untold amounts of time and energy in his devotion to the Legion of Super-Heroes.
His super-cataloging power allows him to compile highly detailed lists of
the most obscure LSH trivia. (When he is Cataloging, Get-A-Life Boy seems
completely invulnerable to boredom.) He can recite details of the Legion's
membership, history, and many alternative versions in a way that makes most
normal sapients flee the area at the highest possible velocity. Get-A-Life
Boy has been known to accurately identify minor characters who only appeared
in a single panel of a twenty-year-old Legion comic.
Invisible
Kid's Page - A site with a comprehensive chronology, as well as floor-by-floor
maps of the Legion HQ on Earth.
The Karate
Kid Dojo - This is my page dedicated to karate Kid of the Legion of Super
Heroes.
Kent Shakespeare
- Legion member Kent Shakespeare, aka "Impulse," appeared in DC Comics' Legion
of Super-Heroes (volume four) comic series from #12 (Oct. '90) to #61 (Sept.
'94). In the comics, he served in the Legion from 2990 to 2991 and then in
the re-formed Legion from late 2994 through 2995's Zero Hour. After the Legion
timeline rebooted as a result of Zero Hour, Kent no longer existed. While
Kent waits in limbo, super-speedster Bart Allen has taken the "Impulse" code-name.
This page will not detail the new Impulse's career, but instead shed some
light on the brief career of the original Impulse, Kent Shakespeare.
